Can’t recommend this game enough! Perfect JRPG style game for people who enjoy those, but also a great gateway to the genre. It also just got a free co-op update and has a free story expansion coming early next year!

highly recommended! I tried this one when it was free on XBOX Game Pass, and was quickly hooked! an unabashed Chrono Trigger inspired RPG, but has it's own spin on the battle mechanics and story! there's also a couple new DLCs, one out now and the other dropping next year!

Sea of Stars is a really good 7/10 game. I haven’t played the new update but the original release does a bit too much please the player, unfortunately kneecapping the power of its own story just so the player gets to have the happy happy ending. The combat can drag.

Despite these flaws it’s fun.

LOVE THIS GAME! It’s such a huge love letter to the golden era of SNES RPGs. Opinions on the story and characters may vary, but I loved it. Not only did it get a massive update in the Dawn of Equinox update, it’s still got a DLC campaign upcoming. Don’t sleep on this one!

I’d say I’m maybe half way through this and it definitely hits the nostalgia just right but I really do like the story and gameplay mechanics. It’s a perfect blend of retro and modern and after the update it only gets better. 9/10

Balatro is one of the most addictive deckbuilders I've ever played. It's bonkers this game is already on sale for $20 (yes of course it's on mobile and other platforms and has been for months). It's worth trying because I feel it's not a great spectator game, you have to find out for yourself.

I can’t really offer much positive about this game since it didn’t really appeal to me, but I can understand the addictive nature of it. Give it a shot if it looks interesting. At worst, you’ll have supported an indie dev. At best, it’ll be your new favorite game.
