anyway I wrote a message to my clinic being like "yo wtf why can't I ask for a renewal online like I could before and why wasn't I warned that this change was happening?!"
Thankfully I'm just annoyed at having spent four hours on this task and having gotten nowhere despite paying taxes precisely to have access to these services.
