Europe is on its own. They need to organize their security around not having the US. At first, Trump will claim he's just being America first, but later, it will become clear he's chosen a side, and it won't be Europe. Europe will need to remove the US from NATO and remove American troops.

Even when I was active duty, I never understood why America saw itself as the international police and why we needed to have bases everywhere. It didn't make us stronger, it made us weaker because we were 1% spread across the world.
