Several months ago, @chrysalidcore.bsky.social reached out to me about us getting POD together for our Agartha setting, as well as updating some of our older settings to have POD and new layout, and this sparked a whole new creative fuel cell I didn't know I had.

Something had started.

So, I set to work outlining what the new Modan would look like. I had already worked with @indiaboeckh.bsky.social on Modan comics, which had made me want to dive back into Modan more anyway. Coupled with the covers @biankatdraws.bsky.social and @marshiyan.bsky.social did, it was sealed.

Taking those comics - as well as @sagamack.bsky.social's amazing map she did for us - I set to work expanding everything that @vjhcreations.bsky.social @peculiarplanets.bsky.social Anne Marie Boeve and @kodo.bsky.social had created in that first exploration of Modan almost two years ago.

Being able to go back and explore Modan again was something I didn't realize I needed, as it became almost therapeutic in a way to get to build a place where hope and acceptance and love were the main themes, where capitalism and fascism were actively protested against.

It is a world I love.

What has come to life through all the hard work of the amazing team has been a setting that I am incredibly proud of, and one that has become home to not just Modan, but also New Ry'laeh City and soon Golgmor!

I cannot wait for you all to go and see this incredible new look for Modan!
