This is a thoughtful piece. What it alludes and I’m wondering if you have more thoughts on, is the timeline. Nationalist conflicts post-WWII feel different. Israel is stuck not only with the 1967 expansion, but even 1948 is slightly after borders were supposed to be fixed.
The problem with Antizionism is that the same people who generally dislike it are the same people who would cheer on, say, the creation of a Native American Ethnonationalist enclave. Land back/stolen soil and all that.
Really the reason the I-P conflict exists is because the Israelis really refused to do the typical ethnonationalist genocide you usually see in a conflict like 1948. More people died in a year of Gaza than the entire history of Israel-Palestine conflict including the prior wars!
