Nitpick: I'd guess (albeit unscientifically) that you are in at **least** the 95th percentile for DCFC usage. Without the bias that comes with that, the overall perspective on EVs changes quite a lot. I know you understand this well, but it's worth mentioning.
I liked the video but some parts were difficult to listen to as an ev owner. OEMs need to come to terms with and improve electrics shortcomings to get more buyers. We need to educate buyers, improve tech and find more options to move industry forward and costs lower.
Enjoyed this video, thanks for the deep dive. One note on the losses during charging. Although it is frustrating to pay for ~10% more energy than you put in the battery, it is far better than the losses from Gas. Only 20% of the energy from gas gets used to move the car, the rest is lost as heat.

If it goes away now, it has helped massively to bootstrap Tesla, but has not really had a chance to help bootstrap competitors like Rivian.
Leon wants it to go away now, because it disproportionately hurts his competitors, who have not yet achieved the necessary scale.
