$1700, yeah right. Living on disability getting little over $1500 a month when rent and bills are soaring out of control, knowing that without friends to live with, I can't afford to live alone. By the end of the month I'm surviving on mashed potatoes, but sure cut our funding...

I think that average is false. It's to high. SSDI & SSI, get significantly LESS than retirees/windows w/kids. Some only get $700 from SSI, if that. I only get $1190 SSDI.

I don't know of any "poor" politicians... there are a few who earn their keep, and actually represent the PEOPLE, not the wealthy, mindless corporations- who, via dark money, help crooked politicians get elected
