Sure! I have a thing where i try to assign common shapes or objects to the character’s construction… specifically food. So like one character will be a few nachos and an egg or a taco bell crunch wrap. It just helps me be consistent with my shape language!

Wow, i never would've guessed. I've not worked on many hand drawn productions, but those I have the main feedback I'd get would be about model accuracy followed by a draw-over with a lot of subtle line changes. Can you relate? Is this just a case of practice and experience?

To be fair, even really experienced animators will get drawovers. I still get drawovers all the time even with a decade of experience. It's just the fastest way to explain what needs fixing sometimes. 5 minutes of typing a note vs a few seconds of doodling.
