I really respect FFC for swinging for the fences but yeah he whiffed pretty hard. At least it was funny! The crowd I got to watch it with was really into it and honestly that made it entertaining

I loved the randomness of the dresses people wore, Plaza was bad in a funny way and Driver looked cool most of the time. That's about it.

I don't know much about the process of it all but yeah, that was disappointing from Coppola.

Here's my hot take though, It would be not so horrible if it was edited differently and didn't look like whatever he wanted it to look like.

I imagine there’s another 30 hours of footage. You could probably make a few better films with careful editing.

I rewatched Fritz Lang’s Metropolis, one of the inspirations, and it’s pretty but not very coherent.
