Timing tells us specific dates when events or hardships ramp up or ease. This isn't a flat good vs bad - it's a whole story of topics and people and qualities of experience. Timing tells us which areas of life are asking for the most focus right now, and so much more.

At some point in our first 40 years, we each enter a time when Zodiacal Releasing (a timing technique brought to us by 2nd century astrologer Vettius Valens of Antioch) activates the hard stuff.

This technique works in 4 levels.

Level 1 is the backdrop of everything and lasts from 8-30 years at a time. But it's only when the months of level 2 and the days of level 3 & 4 all line up that we get the full, dramatic activations of the best and worst of the potentials that live there.

By this metric, the most stressful parts of my chart were activated in 2010 and receded in 2012. But in November of 2023, all 4 levels lined up again. I left my secure rental to camp with family, rescue an ill friend, and start on building a small cabin during summer of 2023.

By November I was stuck using up credit I couldn't pay off and desperately looking for every handhold back up and out of my dire circumstances. Threats to the well being of my son led me to seek emergency housing for all of us. The only thing I found was a costly Airbnb.

On February 20 of 2025 (in 2 days), I leave this stressful time on Level 2 and can regain my footing as the helpful community member that many of you remember me being. February 20th is the day that I must pay my bank an overdue $1900 to prevent my car from being impounded.
