You'd be shocked how often something as banal as a moth flying in front of a light bulb and casting a strange shadow will make people freak out and extoll to their family and friends that there's no explanation, they discounted every rational explanation, etc.

In Germany, they arrested one of the original members this year. She had lived in Bahia while on the run.

The phenomenon has the name of the group because a guy found out that after learning about their existence suddenly he heard about them everywhere

The military does conduct a fair number of secret test flights - IIRC there were UFO reports over Texas in like ~2018 that we're now almost certain were subscale airframe tests for the B-21 Raider.

13. Known-to-science creatures/natural phenomena you just don't happen to know about because you've never studied it. The average relatively-well-educated person knows next to nothing about animals and nature, (just watch an episode of Jeopardy with a category about it.)
