Science fact of the moment: there are a couple of venomous frogs. A few frogs in eastern Brazil with poisonous skin have sharp spiny bone growths in their head which can pierce their skin and the skin of an attacker in order to envenomate the aggressor. They're more toxic than local pit vipers.
