"a day without immigrants & workers" is a disaster of a slogan. If you're calling for a daylong strike by immigrant workers, say so. Otherwise it comes across as a threat to immigrants and workers.

The slogan is a variation of the original 2006 Protest "A Day Without Immigrants". Over the years

has used it many times. May 1st is int'l labor day so its a call to action to include us all?

Thanks, Bea, for the background. But poster slogans should work as a chant, as a demand, and require no additional information. "Protect all immigrants!" "Hands off immigrants!"
