My husband voted for trump . So did most of my Irish Catholic extended family. Trust me when I say I cannot even look at husband some days. It has totally put a wedge in our relationship. As for my family, well, I don’t go to mass any more.

My husband leans left and I always leaned right. During Obama and Bush we had some big political fights but they passed. Times have changed. We are on the same page but our family members are maga. I don't think I could manage being in your shoes. That's rough and I am sorry. Good luck.
It was never an issue before trump & we’re married over 30 years. We just had political differences. Now it means we are diametrically opposed in moral issues. I’m heartbroken.
My parents and in-laws voted for Trump. The way I've explained it to my wife is they are objectively bad people. Listening to the way they speak when describing a person, the individuals sexual orientation or skin color are mentioned when they have no relevance to the story.
My sister. I remember calling her and saying can you believe this guy Trump? Silence on the line. You’re not voting for him??! The quick answer was “of course.” Same with our Latino neighbors. All I can think there is “we got in. Nobody else need apply. The ark is full.”
