Daily life in the Roman Empire. The transport of two (wine?) barrels on a four wheeled chariot pulled by two oxen. A dog is sitting on the barrels. Found in Augsburg (Augusta Vindelicum), dating early 3rd century AD.

It wasn't too long ago that Young's Brewery in South London retired the last of their dray horses. I remember seeing them delivering to the Spread Eagle in Putney in Nov 1991 - that was a nice tradition.
