I'd love for someone to be able to trace the eventual ownership of some of these shady companies that were inexplicably awarded PPE contracts during COVID only for the money to vanish with either no goods supplied or unfit for use goods supplied. Some people got very rich off this....

To make a wild guess, the money that they got given was probably gambled in stocks. They'd have gotten cheap PPE to make it look like it was legit. Money makes money from money. In times of turbulence, they'd have made a mint and since things got rockier, that'll still be going on.

I truly hope that all those who profited from the COVID cash grab are brought to justice. Including those firms and persons who set up the private entity known as "NHS Track & Trace". The self employed & the disabled unfortunate enough to be on the "wrong" benefits should also be compensated.

Completely understand how it was possible by corrupt Tories. What I can’t understand is why there don’t seem to be forensic financial and legal analysts tracing these fraudulent /unfulfilled contracts and getting our public money back - or explaining why this is not possible/viable. 😡

There are “proper purchasing units”. The problem is that the whole point of the “fast lane” was to ignore them because they had regulated procedures which would have avoided the waste. The aim was for their mates to make money, some of which ended in Ministers’ pockets
