A close friend is a prosecutor for the CPS. Workload is ridiculous. The time they get to review a case for trial is minimal, working 15 hours days just to tread water.
Victims are not getting their fair shot at justice as the prosecution cannot live with the workload.

Isn't just the courts the CPS and their backlog (dragging their feet) need addressing to get everything moving. It's starts at the beginning rather than the courts who need help too.

I've noticed Labour are using the same figures as the Tories for justifying not spending more when they quote % of overall budget is greater than ever before.

Yet fraud against Govt is higher than ever yet only accounted for at DWP & HMRC. £100s of billions are being lost every year!
