The govt has to find growth from somewhere. Only growth will help solve our problems. Some can come from planning & an industrial strategy & help w/ manufacturing. Most will come from joining EU & increased trade w/ our closest partner. EU is aligned geographically, ethically & via security

We need to follow the Japanese model. Public owned debt , allows control of the market response and improved return for investors.
