Growth can only mean using more of the planet's resources. There are a few genuine efficencies: mostly IT related. I can't think of any others that drive growth apart from the circle of spending and using raw materials. At some stage countries and to stop growing & live within their means.

What good is growth if wages are flat and noone can afford to buy anything? Where there is spare capacity why does the state not invest? Why do we not direct our resources towards improved health and educational outcomes? Why is it just growth growth growth?

Rejoining the EU will take years, over a decade, even if a rejoin referendum was won. It’s not a viable option. We need growth now.
