Lack of:

Sufficient housing, income to live,decent roads, clean water, fresh food, medical care, accurate info/news, HR, affordable care, security,democracy, accountability,PMA, 21stC infrastructure.

Until there is international consensus on how to prevent the UNHWs, they will continue to move their wealth around at the drop of a hat to avoid tax using an army of Accountants and lawyers to facilitate it.

Deal with that and wealth taxes will work

Reminds me of the comments of a now retired Air Traffic Controller in New York when managing private jets on the taxiways. Speaking to commercial airline traffic he said "give way to the rich 1% then proceed" He was clearly no fan of the entitled minority.

There’s an interesting balance to have here. Tax the 1% more and they’ll move to places like Monaco where they get taxed less than UK

Thus UK loses the tax currently coming from the 1% and the 99% will have to pay (relatively) a bit more

She’s OK with breaking promises to everyone else who cannot afford her corruption. Billionaires are her friends.

Whenever this gets brought up, people always say that “the richest 1% already pay 25% of total tax collected”
I’ve never heard anyone reply to this by pointing out that they OWN 70% of total assets.

In my view, they should therefore be paying 70% of the total tax collected.
