The USFWS is committed to seeing Red Wolf numbers increase.
The Service will continue to collar all captured Red Wolves have bright orange collars to help the public distinguish them from coyotes. All known, collared adult Red Wolves have orange collars.

I know it was done (and is still ongoing) with California condors, but I think this may be even more dire . . .

I played a very tiny role in condor recovery here in California and it remains one of my proudest accomplishments. Species restoration and ecosystem recovery are noble work.
Surely not the wolves too?
