27 years ago today, Mexican gray wolves were reintroduced to the wilds of the Southwest - their ancestral home. Imagine the excitement and curiosity they must have felt, looking at a wide expanse of land with no end in sight. It’s an experience every lobo deserves 🐺

Unfortunately here in Switzerland we face the opposite story. After having exterminated the European gray wolf, it was missing for almost 30 years, before it finally made its way back from Italy and Eastern Europe.
But we’re already in the 2nd extermination round! It’s shameful!
