Added to 'gifts for sick friends' list as soon as I can afford to spend anything (MCAS escalating = VERY expensive month as had to buy new storecupboard of food I can eat + clothes I can wear w/o getting painful rash [that fit as lost 10 kilos due to limited diet] + meds/vits galore)

Yep, esp as body decided I can only wear silk, cashmere & fine cotton w/o getting painful rash. Can't argue with MCAS's taste, but don't think it gets the budget of body it's chosen to hang out in. Meds/vits to stop anaphylaxis are pricey (in UK terms) & copious but I like breathing, so non-optional

Most of it is figuring out how to accommodate yourself, and most of THAT is letting yourself let go of the 9-5 capitalist work frame so you can look at alternate structures that won't literally kill you! It's totally doable.

There's a reason the strapline for https://CripCoop.com is 'Together we can do anything'. *MANY* disabled people are highly skilled but can't get work that accommodates their #disabilities. Cooperating with each other for mutual benefit can make BIG things happen. Better yet if it's a #cooperative business.
