I've played both but it's been ages since I've played the first game. I wish the PC port was reasonably priced because I can't justify dropping £40 on a 360 era game
The only thing now that can derail this, is that Oblivion Remaster. I calculated for MGS Delta and GTA6 this year-- I didn't factor in an Oblivion remaster. 😂
Great games. Probably the two best games in this century. Always felt the Red Dead Redemption never got the love it deserves. It gets up staged by its little brother.
Well, well, it just so happens. I’m finally playing another game that I bought five years ago, so it doesn’t feel too late to get into red dead redemption
I love RDR2 but have struggled to get into RDR1. I love the dialogue but find the gameplay a bit worse. Which might be a hot take. I like RDR2's more slow and sim-like gameplay a lot. The shooting also feels a lot better to me, which may come down to the amazing sound design.
I started RDR2. I hit crashes in the intro but persisted. I kept being annoyed by the clunky controls in this console-first game but I persisted. Then I got looked up a guide how to do something, learned more about the story, and decided I didn't want to play anymore.
Played RDR2 for the first time this summer. I have never been emotionally attached to a game before. But Arthur? His band of misfits? The ending on the mountain? 😭 Had me weeping.

Ghost of Tsushima last night.
I watched a western movie earlier today called Django (1966). Every time I watch a western I wonder if you've seen it, lol.

Hope you had a good day, my friend!
Then I played Red Dead Redemption 1 and was in love.
Same with RDR 2, it was shockingly better.
