Monster Hunter Wilds will be my absolute last attempt at trying a Monster Hunter game. I've played/tried almost every release since they started coming to home/on tv consoles... and everytime they don't click. So Wild is gonna be my last... STAB at it. Will see how it goes once it launches.

Have you tried playing it with friends? My love of Monster Hunter started back in highschool when I got to play it with my best friends. Decade and change later, we're still playing it together.
Hope it sparks joy, but if it doesn't, don't stress yourself about it.
If you don’t like traditional MH you could give the monster hunter stories series a go!
It was so boring and plodding (and frequent) that I literally fell asleep with controller in hand multiple times during those moments of the game.
It's a game that really wants you to learn its systems to succeed. But it requires some practice and patience.
I think Rise is the most accessible!
There’s always hurdles in each game but the ones I feel when I play this aren’t fun to me.
For me - games are best when we have to really exhaust our options to overcome challenges. Too often I think games just let us by without having to think and problem solve.
If I typically can’t get into something solo, it’s rare I will even with people helping me.
Who knows maybe someday it will click.
Its got some stuff of its own, but from what i played in the beta, its still pretty similar to world.
for me, it was the seemless zone transition. hated it for the other titles.
