He’s a great hitter. He’s supposed to entertain you with interviews, too? Says who? Jon Lester didn’t like interviews. Usually said as little as possible. Something tells me that never bothered you.

I’d say he is a very good hitter
There sre some great hitters currently in MLB

I just said 12 years is enough time to know who he is, not that he needs to entertain me. However he feels comfortable expressing himself is fine by me.

It is an odd choice for a reporter to downplay the importance of answering questions when it's your job to ask them.

No one is criticizing Shohei for using an interpreter. Players come from all over the world and speak a variety of languages. You don’t have to speak English to be a beloved player.

All i am saying is Pedro and Papi’s communication style did add to their popularity in Boston
Hence all the clips from them still on internet
If Devers can’t Ok he still a real good player

So that’s a pretzel mentality. Devers is this team’s star player. He doesn’t have BE Shohei. You’re not complaining that MASA uses an interpreter. You’re pissed that a Spanish speaker won’t learn enough English to satisfy you.
