This is a great writing practice! I lost both of my parents relatively young, partly to their inability to care for themselves, so I often work though similar questions, "what did they know? what did I withhold? " Looking forward to more of your writing/insights.

I am going to delve into this in the next few days. Seems like a beautiful healing practice that maybe will inspire me to do the same (lost my mom 15 years ago).

I highly recommend it! There are so many things I wish I could say to my mom so this helps a great deal to get it all out there. And half the time I end up answering my own questions just by pondering what she’d tell me.
