I think that the environment itself makes people behave differently. Like on twitter, you couldn't express your opinion without getting hate, leading to people stay silent.
Hopefully it will take years until we reach this point on here.

You also have to imagine they've been rotting on that site for YEARS. Negativity THRIVES on that site, like seriously. You could say slurs and it would get CLICKS. It's their only place they could legitimately voice god awful opinions and still get feedback that's not being banned.

i think it's mostly because we (the people that migrated) are the ones actually concerned for the new ToS, and generally how the website was in general... therefore... we know how to not act if we want to keep a healthy website :]

I don't know when but Twitter became a field of thoughts, morals or anything that can make people feel better than others which made those who act based on those pleasures be more defensive while chatting with someone with different opinion
