Biggest thing I've noticed this season is how much better he is in the corners and at getting the puck off the wall and into better areas. That used to be a real weakness, and while he'll always be undersized, his work on those details is paying off. His setup on the tying goal last night shows it
I like Robertson and don’t get why everyone wants to give him away, but 25% of his point production this season has come in the last 2 games, and if he’s not scoring he’s not really adding a ton of value. He’d be better on a team where he could get more PP time.
So? That's not shocking when you are talking about a player with 11 goals on the year. A couple big games will swing the numbers. I'm not even saying he's gonna be anything special. Just that what he is is worth more than what he's paid.
For sure. The point I was making is more I don’t think they’re well positioned to get the most out of him, so he makes sense to trade because he should have some value. But as part of a package to get someone who moves the needle not because you can do better with less than ~$1 mil.
