Pokémon Omega Ruby
Pretty good. I have a lot of nostalgia for gen 3, but I do think Hoenn is kind of weakly designed despite a lot of the locales being interesting. The remake's mechanically sound, has a good Dex, and has enough features to make it a big improvement over XY, even if it's not a fav.

Easily the best game in the series up to this point. Everything feels incredibly smooth and fun, and there wasn't much in the way of gimmicky design in levels or bosses. I also really like how checkpoints work here. My one criticism is that some bosses suck as Zero.
I will say, as smooth as this game is, it's fun to break wide open with the Ultimate Armor.
Core gameplay loop was kind of fun, but the absolutely bonkers encounter rate basically ruins it. Luckily the battle system is fast enough to offset that somewhat. It's also surprisingly unobtuse for its age, and I think it did a few neat things with the writing and game design.
Pretty good. I thought the first half was pretty boring, but I was engaged in the second half when the movie really played its hand. I usually prefer things to be a bit wordier, but Drive did a good amount with not much dialogue. Also cool car-driving scenes.
Bosses and stages were OK at best and godawful at worst (Volt Kraken's stage). RNG stuff was stupid. Lots of really confusing design decisions also really dragged it down despite it feeling good to play technically. Lenient checkpoints made it less tedious than it would be otherwise.
Iris?
Iris!
Iris...
Iris...?
IRIS!
Dive too, since there really didn't need to be a third water HM,
