Or not. This is as much evidence of creativity as it is unhealthy fixation. Like how furries seem rich and well off with their expensive hobby, when in reality they might just be really bad with money and thousands in debt.
I say this with only love in my heart and the foreknowledge that I am very much one of these people, but this is what you can achieve when you have enough autistic individuals hyper-fixated on the same 90s video game mascot.
Just because you don't like the new Sonic games doesn't mean that they're objectively bad, they're just not your taste anymore, and both (liking new stuff or not) are ok
downloading emulators is pretty easy, just install emudeck and it basically handles it for you automatically (you can also just install plain retroarch)
downloading emulators on steamdeck is basically just as easy as it would be on pc since they’re the same, so deck wins by landslide if we’re comparing that process to homebrewing
id say steam deck is easier as the 3ds modding behaves differently on different systems. modded mine without a problem but never solved issues with my friend's 3ds. steam deck is just a computer and you dont have to jailbreak it with weird methods
This is a decompb of the 360 version specifically, though features from the ps3 version have been added as optional features, such as altered colour correction, day-night transitions (which are objectively worse but cool they were added nonetheles) and playstation button prompts/ui
I have trouble installing it in mu deck, as it does instal automatically in the internal storage and my deck is the one with the small internal storage. Have you got any way to tell it to install on the sd card instead?
Install the flatpack, but then move that flatpack's folder from the ".var" folder to your SD card, and create a link to that folder and place the link back where the flatpack folder originally was. After that, you should be able to build the port just fine. I had to do that, myself.

Ironic.
Literally unstoppable.
Sonic community keeps lying to themselves
The only difficult part is obtaining the bios file and figuring out what folder to put it on for those not familiar with SteamOS 's folder layout
SEGA: nah
Fans:
You have a steam deck and you play sonic on it ?!
I can’t believe you just play this game on it …
Allegedly.
