I remember when Zhenhun was airing and was spoiled about the ending which hurt more because YiLong was Shen Wei - he embodied him perfectly. And it wasn’t in the book. To the point now on the occasion we get a censored Priest BL novel adaptation I’m wary of the inevitable sad/bad ending.
