I saw a post about this effect forever ago. I dont remember verbatim but generally, there are 8760 hours in a year, being lazy and assuming a child gets half of that it means toddlers are getting at least 4380 hours of immersion every year and EVERYONE is understanding and willing too teach them. >
>so the fact that someone with maybe a few hundred hours of, likely inconsistent, intentional exposure too the language and minimal if any outside support can understand a toddler with thousands of hours of exposure and universal support still shows a powerful capacity for learning and understanding
