Falling birth rates should be welcomed, but most people see it as a threat.

How can we get more progressive voices into media and shift people’s minds plus focus on the critical issues?

The birth rate going down is what we want. That’s the good result of women being able to get contraception since the 1960s. There was bound to be a bulge of older people as a result & this should have been planned for. Less humans hopefully means less consumption & therefore less climate change

Is it just me or is this completely insane? Completely insane to ignore THE biggest reason many are deciding not to have kids. And completely insane to talk about encouraging human populations to keep increasing, when we’re obviously massively overstraining the planet already.

Not at all. I'd like to see a swingometer needle on human vs wildlife or insect populations. As one goes up the other goes down, and I think the past 50 years offers ample evidence of this.
