I have a long time attachment to the Syberia games. It’s pretty and I love good puzzle/story games.
More recently, I’ve developed motion sickness playing pretty much anything that’s not a 2D scroller but found I can play VR games - so Dark Matter is my current fave.
Eastshade: travel around a fantasy setting as a painter. Make camp, ride your bike, soak in hot springs, infiltrate secret tea societies, take on commissions from the locals, etc. It’s such a peaceful, hopeful, and earnest little game.
It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I usually say Super Metroid. Loved the atmosphere, gameplay, music, and that crazy ending was just fantastic back in the day.
Not sure what my favorite video of all time is, but I will say that Mortal Kombat is my favorite gaming franchise of all time. I love the lore, the characters, the fighting gameplay is just super fun, and of course, you can't go wrong with over-the-top gory fatalities.
There are lots to choose from but maybe right now KotOR is up there because of the story, the characters and how it was one of the first games I played that gave a choice of being good or evil. Plus you could play as a woman as well.
Pokémon Yellow. Pokémon was the first RPG I ever played, it got me into the TCG & TV show. Pikachu is my favorite, so when Yellow came out & you got to have Pikachu as your starter, it won me over. The promotional material for that game was great & the yellow Gameboy Color that came out with it? 🤌🏻💋

Right now? Marvel Rivals. I like it when I can trap people with walls as Groot
