Ugly from a render, hope it's better in person, would be glad to just have something. The 1990s Mold Road revamp looks vastly different from the old paddock. Times do have to change.

Architecturally I'm a fan of the creative application of brickwork. Brick can be a challenge to get creative results with and Populous pulled out all the tricks on this one. Nice to see the colliery is still part of the plaza plan as well.

The stand looks narrower than previous but deeper. Likely how they got the capability for future growth built into the current design. The construction also seems more straightforward than the prior design, likely with an eye towards making sure we hit the target for the U21 matches next summer.

Nice start. Obviously it will fit in better when the rest of the stadium is rebuilt in the same style. Better to have a design which makes a statement than something bland and utilitarian.

Like the brickwork...but the shape is similar to the wardrobe me and my father in law put up without looking at the instructions - original though! I suppose safe standing was in the first plans anyway, but that really will improve the experience.

I looks great from the pitch side, and I like the brickwork. Not sure what the thought process is for the 3 wonky middle sections though. Looks odd

Huh? Seems way too artsy for its purpose. It makes me think of when a school district wants to add on to the high school for more administrative space and the architects show up with renderings of the Belaggio lobby.
