Speaking of, did you know that Vespasian was literally a god? The Senate deified him. The Son of God, Titus, smashed Jerusalem in year 70 just like the Bible predicted, right on schedule. So retribution did come for the Jewish sinners who didn't repent, but in the form of the Roman army.
I learned early in my walk with God that if you look for false gods, you may find them. Instead I focus on who I believe to be the one true God that is Jesus.
