Currently struggling with this exact thing. I'm also quite impatient and would like to get straight to the drawing part but I need to finish the script first 🥲
It is worth it, for sure. I draw one comic-book per year, and it's a great goal and benchmark. And closing it with it in your hands...honestly worth it. But sometimes it's nice to have a break also haha
