Though the Christmas that I worked at a shop where the owner burned 3 CDs of folk-punk (i.e. Fairy tale of New York and Run Rudolph Run and a lot of covers) and put them in the changer on random (which tells you how long ago THAT was) was quite an antidote to the one where I worked Walmart.
One Christmas only, in a shopping centre with one Christmas album available. Played non stop from mid November.
I was frantically job hunting in January.
I WILL sob while listening to carol singers.....even when hiding in the sitting room looking out the window at them while alistic hubby opens the front door. That's not drama....its appropriate emotional empathy- isn't it? Also, will sob when all offspring come home for Christmas dinner- mammy pride

There are vendettas.
It's also my position that if the store's track includes either Christmas Shoes or Michael Buble's Santa Buddy, a single afternoon can be enough.

And I do agree. Christmas is for kids & if it's your religion.
I like the lights too
It's not so much the music itself as the incessant sonic harassment
