It's really hard, I know. You can do this, once the withdrawals are gone, it will be so much easier. You'll be able to smell so much better. No coughing up lung butter *gross*. I quit about 30 years ago, it was tough. Are you using anything, the patch, gum, ?
I'm using the patch, but lowest dose b/c the higher one made me dizzy. I'm also recovering from dental surgery, which will take at least the next 4 months (bone graft) before the next phase. And, I weaned myself off hormone replacement in Oct. I'm a mess right now Janet.
I think your body will eventually get used to it & your weight will stabilize. That's what happened to me w my anti-rejection meds following my kidney transplant years ago. At first, I was bloated & puffy, but I'm back to my usual size. You've got this! 👊
