There was such long spots with nada for Metroid n' I'm a huge fan. Thankfully it always seems to comeback.
Vs Star Fox which . . . How many times have they remade Star Fox 1? 64, 3D, Zero? IDK why they can't make a new game.
I personally think Assault should be the blueprint for the series in that it has Arwing missions and TPS missions.
Honestly for as rough as Star Fox 2 ran I really enjoyed what ideas they had. I wish it ran better because good lord it can hit single digits easily but it's so much fun
