Late to the film of Claire Keegan’s peerless novel, and though I still think Cillian Murphy was miscast - Bill is an everyman, which makes his action exceptional, but Murphy can’t help but seem a visionary - he embodies the struggle with conscience. And I loved the textures. Well worth catching.
