This is so profoundly strange from @slotkin.senate.gov. The Harris campaign ran one of the most aggressive outreach efforts to moderates, independents, and soft Republicans in recent memory!

True centrists know that by the time Harris was campaigning, the center had been erased and redrawn. Harris was a centrist running against a fascist. And everyone who pretended the center was a midpoint between Harris and Trump put this country in grave danger. Traitors who put money over safety.

Harris didn't need to change her message for conservatives because true conservatives want nothing to do with fascism and will work with a centrist. Trump already didn't appeal to them. And she didn't need to reach out to fascists because (1) they hate women and black people and (2) **** fascists.

I’ve come to believe that the Democratic Party is a pressure release valve for unfettered capitalism. Its only goal has been to keep that engine running, not dismantle it. Therefore, small concessions to workers here and there.
The Dems total inability to meet this moment is proof enough.

When people complain that Democrats shouldn't focus so much on the "base," what they are actually saying is that Democrats should ignore Labor and marginalized groups to placate the whims of billionaire donors.

"You should suck up to billionaires like Trump does" isn't a strategy that works! Everyone pushing that on Harris should have been fired. Because Trump was willing to sell out America and embrace fascism to please his billionaires. There is no line he will not cross to suck them off. LOOK AT ELON!
