Yeah! I knew it could be in cosmetics (got rid of my shampoo that had hydrolyzed wheat protein) but discovered this week that some lipsticks have barley and wheat germ and the vitamin e (tocopheryl) can also sometimes be derived from wheat (or soy and corn) and companies don’t have to label that.
I’ve had a bad stomach for months, but thought it was because of my gallbladder surgery. Turns out my Clinique lipstick had gluten in it! Hopefully it’s resolved now.
