Yes, the voice transcription messed it up. It should say a real religion could contain nothing false, or wicked when atheists and skeptics demolish the existing religions. I think they’re doing the work of God if there is one.

Not everyone believes in the "one" God, remember that many people do not care at all. The problem begins when they are marginalized socially because of this, even though they are wonderful people who love life and the world. This is how it often happens, hence the so-called atheists.

I think that's fine. My objection is to coercive religion, abusive religion, anti-scientific religions, *government* religion (e.g. nearly all extant forms of post-Nicene Christianity, most forms of Islam). If God keeps quiet people ought to respect that.

Yes, I have experienced a downright psychopathic form of the Catholic religion in my country that still tends to grow back like a weed. The more cunning ones use it for their political wars for power. That is why when politicians start rubbing God in their faces it should be a red light.

The Catholic Church has contributed vast evil and totalitarian mind control to the world. Its pretenses to special knowledge were irreversibly destroyed by the Galileo affair. Its claims of moral goodness are falsified by behavior during the inquisition (and other things).

Personally, I don't believe in any religious nonsense and unicorns, but when they start to disturb my existential peace I'm able to use an axe to clean up my yard.
