The first one is Antonio Canova's 1782 Theseus and the Minotaur, the second is not depicting Hercules; it's Theseus fighting the Minotaur by Étienne-Jules Ramey - 1826. In the Tuileries Gardens, Paris. That said, one of Herakles labors is taking a bull from Crete - a bull may be the Minotaur's sire.
