This is the back of my tiny bird-food forest, that’s where I put the dried out stems of the verbena and some other stuff like leaves. It’s a dead hedge, but full of life, a great hiding place for the little creatures in the garden 🐝🐞🪲🕷️🐛🪱🌱

My father’s snowdrops are in full flower, heartwarming that he’s still with me in a way thanks to these flowers.
I’m not cutting back these grasses yet, because they still look fabulous, I usually cut them back in March, depending on the weather that year. 🌱

I see you're in The Netherlands? I'm in the Pacific Northwest. We had a warm December that transitioned to a seemingly false Spring before real winter weather started in mid-January. We are still in that phase. Waiting for real Spring...

Yes, I live in the North of the Netherlands, just east of the city of Groningen. In most places it was the warmest February 21st to date (temperatures in Celsius).
I hope we won’t get any more serious frosts before its spring. And hopefully you’ll see some better weather soon too.
