You can do basic photogrammetry with a cell phone camera and some free software. Is that an option for whatever you're doing?

I have tried and the results are never up to the accuracy I need. Doesn't help that a lot of surfaces have complex geometry that I need to be accurate (as they will hold hundreds of pounds of force).

Some of the structural mounting points have very frustrating angles that aren't a single radius.

The cost of extra Send Cut Send iterations will probably offset the savings for an $800 Raptor.

What did you use for the scan on the Mini and how accurate has it been if measured? 🤔

I need custom hard-mounts for my pelican in my trunk. Custom mounts for boxes/IR camera on my roof rails. A wind deflector for same. Tablet on my sunvisor. yadda.

I used an Xbox 360 Kinect and the Skanect software lol. Extremely low on the scale of scanners haha.

I don't trust it much, so much like when I designed my Z air dam I'll take some known measurements so I can cross reference and make sure the scale is correct

It's good if you need a fair representation of the shape, but there are definitely better options that are pretty inexpensive (but I also can't decide what I want)
