Yup. If its not enough the enemy might feel emboldened and push harder. If its a lot then they get a nasty shock and they need to spend more time preparing. Keeping the enemy in the dark is always good. I doubt Russia posts how many cruise missiles it has left.

That’s kind of “funny” considering it was was Merz who railed against the “secrecy” around arms deliveries from the old government - now, as Chancellor, he simply calls it “strategic ambiguity.” I call it Merz-style consistency: transparency is great, as long as you’re not the one governing.
