I've spent the past decade working with underprivileged people, who cannot (like really cannot, like food-or-medicine cannot) afford a gap. This pledge will definitely support that sort of clinic to stay afloat. But it also takes time to do this sort of work.

Longer consults are needed for people with more complex conditions, low literacy, more severe illness, and other barriers. The @racgp.bsky.social is asking for better funding for longer consults and mental health care. The difficult work. And we should fund it- because a stitch in time saves nine.
